there lived a set of twins named Calla and Elora. The daughters of a powerful wizard and a good witch, the girls possessed a great deal of magic.
In their teen years, something happened to Calla. Elora was so grief-stricken by the loss of her beloved sister that she wept endlessly. The sorrow in her tears evoked an accidental curse. Every set of twins born in the land for generations would be separated either by death or mysterious circumstances.
Distraught by the curse she’d inflicted, Elora placed a protection spell around the kingdom to prevent the villagers from further harm.
As a young mother, Elora was betrayed and defeated by her husband, the dark wizard Larque. He was powerful, but not strong enough to kill her. Instead, he conjured a spell that turned her to stone. Before she was turned, Elora banished him from ever entering the island of Rhyme…
Or that’s how the legend goes.
Get lost in the Legend of Rhyme.
“A diverse cast of magical characters, including witches, goblins and mermaids…will not disappoint readers with a penchant for action-packed, plot-driven novels… The short chapters in this novel allow the storyline to build at an accessible pace both for parents who wish to read aloud and for independent readers at the middle-grade level… Subtlety makes way for deep conversation between parent and child.”

Ariana and Asher Caine, twins separated since the age of four, must find each other before their 13th birthday to help a good witch stop an evil sorcerer from taking over the world.
Asgall has escaped from Darali and is threatening not only the human realm, but also, Coraira, the land of magic. Ariana and Asher have the power to stop him, if only they knew what form he has taken.
A darkness has entered Coraira, threatening the world’s magic and all those who practice it. Only the combined power of Asher, Ariana, and a mysterious girl named Teagan can protect the realms... if they can find her in time.
Asher and Ariana are in ancient Rhyme, a time when Calla and Elora were children. Here, the twins are unable to use their powers. They don’t know whom to trust, where to turn, or how to avoid doing something in the past that may alter the future forever.
Ariana has woken in Coraira, and is torn between leaving to find her twin brother, or staying and learning how to rule the magic realm while Calla is under a protection spell.
