Wow. That was a good day. A great day, even. I had a great day.
I got SO much work done. It was the best day I’ve had all summer in terms of billable hours. I’m pretty happy right now. Aaaand I just got an encouraging note from my publisher about something and it’s so exciting!!
I knew the minute I won that gift card on Sunday that my luck was about to turn. Thank goodness.
I didn’t make it to the gym tonight as I’d planned, but that’s ok. I ended up working late so supper was late and I wasn’t organized enough to exercise on top of everything else. Tomorrow is a new day.
Hmm. Tomorrow will be tricky.
I’m going to get up around 4am to get some project work done because I’ve volunteered my time tomorrow to sell tickets for a Parkinson’s Disease fundraiser. A year or so ago, my Dad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. It’s a disease I never really gave much thought to before Dad was diagnosed, but the more I learn about it the more frustrating it is that there’s so little known about it. Related, I’ll be walking in the Parkinson’s Super Walk on September 9th.
I also have to drop off my car to the dealership to get some brake work done. Exciting stuff.
My family members are currently eating ice cream. All I can hear right now are spoons clinking against bowls and it’s driving me a bit nuts. I don’t really care for ice cream, unless it’s Cow’s ice cream. Then I care a great deal. If you’ve never been to PEI, you might not know about Cow’s and that’s very sad.
It’s very hot here today. Like, hot enough that we probably should have gone to the beach, but again it was just too late by the time supper was cleaned up that it was dark outside and that’s a bit too late to go for a swim. Oh well.
K, I’m gonna go and do some writing now. Although Shelby is wound up and I can’t hear myself think at present. Wish me luck.
Love JL
That ice cream looks so good and if I’m being honest, I was drooling over the ice cream and couldn’t really pay attention to the blog itself. Sorry.
Oh Shelby.
yes….
