Prince Edward Island is beautiful

October 15, 2017 / by JaimeLee / Leave a Comment

I announced to my family recently, that we’re going to embark on one off-the-beaten-track adventure per week. Indefinitely.

We’ve gotten boring.

I think we’ve fallen into that trap of “we’re too busy for this” or “too tired for that” or but but but but. Thing is, all of us love being outside and exploring nature.

Last Monday, I suggested to Jason and the girls that we spend some of our Thanksgiving Day traveling a road we hadn’t been down before. I knew where we were going, but I didn’t tell them. Knox’s Dam. They hadn’t been before. Photos don’t do it justice.

As a writer, I know how important it is to change my scenery every now and again. I was so inspired by this magnificent setting that I was literally brought to tears. And the words are flowing.
